Nope, real dumplings are the size of biscuits. there would be absolutely no way to cover them unless you don't know how to make proper dumplings and they are just tiny shreds of bread
my gf makes "dumplings" the same way even though I showed her how to do it correctly
I guess im just a stickler for food. I wanted to be a Michelin star chef before I changed careers

So, as I said before. He didn't take a pic of the dumplings/biscuits. If they had been under that chicken/gravy, you could tell but they would still be covered. If you can see the sides of the biscuit then you don't have enough gravy.
