that video shows the slinky extended and not as its intended, the horizontal thing was to just try yo get you to realize that your manipulated it is actually changing it to fit your begging the question fallacy, that you're also unaware of.

like not as intended by the instruction manual? or?

it's a problem to stretch the slinky out and then make it do a wave motion? or?

as you can see at the end of this original 1960s commercial not only was it the "intended purpose" but they also made a line of pull toys using that horizontal slinky springiness. click to the end to see!

1. you quoted the same post of mine twice. aka double post.

2. you dont know which keys are which without the labels?

3. why does being horizontal matter in a slinky being a spring

4. see video above.

1. you're allowed to edit posts - i'm not - your assertion was based on ignorance

2. Mostly - but im a bad typer and if i get my finger position wrong, it's really more of your issue that triggers you

3 Horizontal means like leave it fivking alone and stop playing with it, like just place it a table and stop imposing your impulsiveness, relax

hold a slinky in both hands by the ends - in like a U-shape

is it returning to its original shape - anyone who claims a slinky is a spring is a squirrel

Santara debunks Santara

If you're holding onto both ends, you're still applying tension to the spring, so it won't return to its original shape. It's still a spring.

horizontal means leave it alone? what an odd way to describe leaving something alone.

at the end when you pull the head of the toy why does the tail spring forward?

thanks for showing the slinky not returning the work you put in

also - put either ends on a table - why does in not return to its original form?

Oh thats right - its not an actual spring

sorry you're triggered by learning something you should have 40 years ago

put both ends on a horizontal table, it does not return to its original state

it doesn't fit the definition of a spring, only your begging the question make you think your assertion is correct

You don't know what begging the question actually means. You still haven't posted your dictionary source.
