It's a car thing. I speak car.

The torsion bar i was referring to is the one in the Cavendish Magic trick, forgot i was talking to a "Jr Bio-Transportation Specialist"

Lol. I've been selling car and truck parts for 22 years. Torsion bars are truck parts. School buses don't use them, they use leaf springs, which are also flat pieces of metal when you put enough strain on them. The simple fact of the matter is you have no idea (that you'll admit) what constitutes a spring. A slinky is a spring, and you admitted it when you said:

The slinky is not the source of the work or force, the squirrel is. The reason it returns the force is because it has been turned into a spring by forcing it to remain bent thereby removing its precompressed helical design and changing its purpose.

Well duh. It returns because the squirrel put tension on it, and it resists that tension to return to it's formed state. That's what springs do.

No silly, it's you that pretends that a spring not under tension is somehow not a spring. The slinky doesn't turn into a spring when the squirrel applies the tension, it was a spring already.

spring

noun

2. a resilient device, typically a helical metal coil, that can be pressed or pulled but returns to its former shape when released, used chiefly to exert constant tension or absorb movement.

a slinky, in its normal state will not return to its former state. The slinky you presented was altered, bent, and extended around a steel pole.

Don't leave you daytime job as a Hazardous Biodegradable Transport Specialist,

cause, you just smashed yourself again, and again, and again

Please explain to me - Did you just wake up one morning on 2008 and say to yourself -

"OMFG Im so triggered - someone on the Internet doesnt worship the State like i do!"

So sad.
