Would blood worms help it keep red pigments?

No. It’s genetic. Some are brighter red then others. Some Red earred sliders don’t have red at all even. As you can see on Nugget he is almost peachish.

I do like to mix blood worms with his soft pellets sometimes though because he likes them. But he is about to start getting mad at me because he is past due to move from every day feeding to every other day feeding so we can keep his liver safe.

I googled them and see exactly what you mean. I was curious if diet helped them at all, like beta fish and some lizards, but you explained red eared sliders well in regards to their colour.

How often will you need to clean Nuggets tankquarium?

But long story short.
% of water changed weekly.
Full clean every six months.

Too bad you didn't live near for any tank needs. He is pretty knowledgable when it comes to corals and exotic fishes.

I really prefer turtles. Just got my EDP here.

That is cool, he just sold many tank products too. Turtles are quite fascinating, I do agree.
