if the old man were concealed carrying, he had enough time to react without the shooter knowing he was armed... if he were open carrying, the coward would have probably shot him without talking to him, not giving him the time to assess the situation and react...

you assume because you're open carrying, you're not a target. which is not the case. open carry = first target of a shooter to eliminate obvious threats to their plan.

Any fool can carry a gun, I personally find it pathetic that you think it makes you "alpha" in doing so. Heck, even monkies can use guns, are you saying the monkies are just as "alpha" as you are?

By the time you realize you've been attacked and need of your firearm or knife, guaranteed the attacker would have already pulled his knife our of your body for the next stab.
That's how quick it can happen, especially if the perp can openly see your weapons
