I did the same thing earlier with a personal pic of the summit of Kilimanjaro, if you create a line across the horizon, the curve is clear.

That was only 19000 feet.

This is a trick of perspective you just see over water, if the earth is really curving wouldn't you see that effect when the lake water is not present?
