Metal is made for angry people especially teens who have a need to yell their problems out loud. Unless you want to mess yourself up don't listen to this horrible sound as it's probably worse than rap.

Well if you going to dodge and be offended then you know I am right.

I find it a lot more talented than any other music.
Especially in the tech death arena of metal.
I can't find any other music that peaks my interest and lets me acknowledge how much skill an artist has so clearly.
I love technical musicianship, it's hard to find it in anything outside of the category.

It is all the same argument with most everybody, "Ugh, screaming and yelling so angsty can't even understand it"
Vocals in the scene are the hardest thing to digest, and is the barrier of entry into a wonderful world of talent.
All vocals range in almost limitless genres of metal (getting ridiculous counting them all).
There are some talented bands with majority of cleans and vice versa, you pick what you like if you like the sound.
This seems like a "Stop liking what I don't like post"

If you're not a fan of the vocals, maybe trying some non vocal tech/metal would be more your thing?
There is room here for everyone, don't let vocals gatekeep you from enjoying a good riff/breakdown.


I get tired of 4/4 time signatures real fuckin quick.
I'm assuming you're a dad rock fan, or you're going to hit me with some smoke lounge jazz and show me a sax solo I'd love to hear.

The technical aspect also displays their significant passion for the music they create.
Not to mention metalheads are typically some of the most respectful groups of people you will encounter. Especially at a show.
