Why not? God spoke to Noah and he built the Ark. It's up to you to reveal why that isn't true.

Isn't it great that God can use Science hand in hand to make a Rainbow to keep his promise?

God combined with science is a very uncommon view but plausible

Is it so unrealistic to imagine god as a programmer running a super computer that is our lives?

I'm agnostic because the scope of the universe is unknowable and all scientific measurements eventually become infinitesimal

But that certainly doesn't stop me from contemplating ALL possibilities

Like this dude said- I would rather have no answers instead of answers that could be wrong

Consider:

How do I prove God exists? Impossible

How do I prove God does not exist? Impossible

There is no validity that will be 100% in the context of any scientific analysis so the answer to if God exists falls to our own personal bias

If I were to prove either question I would have to have knowledge of the past, present and future as well as spatial dimensions of the universe to even begin a valid analysis otherwise any child could poke holes in my opinion

Frankly I'm tired of people arguing for and against God, both sides are lost and slave to their imagination, neither argument can be proven and if you ask yourself what existed BEFORE, logically how can God always exist? And how could this all start from nothing?

It is painfully apparent to me that the depth of the universe far surpasses any human comprehension and to argue the issue with confidence is folly

Furthermore: to say I know what happens after I die is the pinnacle of human arrogance

What right do any of you to say you are wrong and I am wrong when be are both of the same world

The stupidity you spouted is palpable. Please, explain away the talking snake now? Rofl

I see you are dodging once again. You said give me evidence and then I gave you evidence. Now you are changing the subject without acknowledging the evidence given to you. I can explain the talking snake but will you change the subject again? Let's find out.

Here is your answer for the talking snake:

Interestingly, the serpent/snake speaking to Adam and Eve is not the only instance in the Bible where an animal speaks. The prophet Balaam was rebuked by his donkey (see Numbers 22:21-35). We have to remember that while animals are not capable of speaking, there are powerful beings out there (God, the angels, Satan, the demons) who are capable of the impossible, including enabling animals to speak. Most scholars hold that it was Satan in the Garden of Eden who was speaking through the snake, not the snake itself speaking on its own. Thus, the Genesis 3 account it is not suggesting that snakes were of an intellect that would have enabled them to speak coherently.

Still, why didn’t Adam and Eve find it strange that an animal was speaking to them? It is unlikely that Adam and Eve had the same perspective we do on animals. In our era, we know from experience that animals are incapable of speech on the same level as humans. Adam and Eve did not have a childhood, nor did they have other humans to learn from. Given that Adam and Eve had probably only been alive a matter of days, it is not unreasonable for them to believe that animals were capable of speech. It is also possible that this was not the first talking animal Adam and Eve had encountered. Perhaps Satan or even God Himself had used animals to communicate with Adam and Eve before. There are so few details given in the account that much is left to speculation and presumption.

Lastly, it was not unreasonable for Eve to answer the snake. After all, the snake was evidently speaking in a language that she understood and asking an intelligible question. It is also likely that Adam was nearby and could verify that she was not imagining things. It was not the serpent speaking that should have alarmed them. Rather, it was the fact that he was causing them to doubt God’s instructions (Genesis 3:1), contradicting God (Genesis 3:4), and calling God’s motives into question (Genesis 3:5). That should have been enough to cause both Eve and Adam to stop talking to the serpent.

I don't understand what you are trying to say here. God as a programmer running a super computer that is our lives? Do go on.

This is exactly my point. I give logical and sound arguments and all you can say is "That's no argument." You didn't give a reason why that is not proven to be true.

You don't know how to argue. You haven't given any sound logic of your own. I have presented to you lots of evidence on multiple occasions and all you ever do is say stuff like that.

This is why you aren't very convincing as you are not rebutting a single thing that I am saying.

Because it's not a logical or sound argument you goof. Animals can't fucking speak to humans, rainbows weren't all of a sudden invented by God as a promise to not flood the earth and bible verses aren't concrete evidence of literally anything. I'm done talking to you. There's no reasoning with crazy. Jesus fucking christ...

Once again, all you can say is "It's not an argument" as your response. Even when the evidence is presented to you, clear as crystal, you simply refuse to believe. Have I ever told you about the talking donkey? Read and believe!

Numbers 22:21-39

Balaam’s Donkey
Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey and went with the Moabite officials. But God was very angry when he went, and the angel of the Lord stood in the road to oppose him. Balaam was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him. When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with a drawn sword in his hand, it turned off the road into a field. Balaam beat it to get it back on the road.

Then the angel of the Lord stood in a narrow path through the vineyards, with walls on both sides. When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it pressed close to the wall, crushing Balaam’s foot against it. So he beat the donkey again.

Then the angel of the Lord moved on ahead and stood in a narrow place where there was no room to turn, either to the right or to the left. When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat it with his staff. Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?”

Balaam answered the donkey, “You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.”

The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you?”

“No,” he said.

Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown.

The angel of the Lord asked him, “Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me. The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If it had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared it.”

Balaam said to the angel of the Lord, “I have sinned. I did not realize you were standing in the road to oppose me. Now if you are displeased, I will go back.”

The angel of the Lord said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but speak only what I tell you.” So Balaam went with Balak’s officials.

When Balak heard that Balaam was coming, he went out to meet him at the Moabite town on the Arnon border, at the edge of his territory. Balak said to Balaam, “Did I not send you an urgent summons? Why didn’t you come to me? Am I really not able to reward you?”

“Well, I have come to you now,” Balaam replied. “But I can’t say whatever I please. I must speak only what God puts in my mouth.”

Then Balaam went with Balak to Kiriath Huzoth.
