The Original movie is awesome! And it was even more awesome at that time! It became a pretty solid foundation for the series so it could became one of the bigest scifi franchise of all time :) If the makers of the seriers would own the movie rights too, SG could became much bigger than StarWars and StarTrek too. too bad, the original movie owners didn't want to sell it to them... :(

Now they want to make a new movie, but completely rebooting it... going back to the original movie and continue that... I don't know if I ever will forgive them if they mess up my favourite scifi... :cry:

Dont worry, alternate realities can be used to fix every plot hole.

I know, I know... but still...
I know there is an alternative reality where SG-1 is at its 20ish, Atlantis 10ish and Universe is at its 5th season, and they still going on! With several cinema movies etc... :D I want that Ancient Reality Switcher Mirror and find that reality! B)
