weird.. i was just checking this thread then i saw this on my msn home; so contributes to this thread, what is this bullshit.

8 little white lies women tell men

All women fib from time to time, whether it’s to protect your feelings or cover her tracks, we reveal the lies most frequently told by women…

“I’m not really looking for a relationship right now.”
Sorry guys, but if she wasn’t looking for a relationship, she wouldn’t be wasting her time dating. The truth of the matter is she’s not looking for a relationship with you right now, but she’s letting you down gently. Respect that and move on.

“It was in the sale.”
Stop marveling at her incredible bargain hunting skills. Those shoes weren’t actually 99.9 percent off in a random one day-only flash sale. She paid full price for them, but doesn’t want you to know because you know she can’t really afford them. Keep schtum and respect a woman’s right to shoes. She had to have them so just deal with it okay?

“I’m fine.”
OK chaps, this is the big one. If you learn just one thing from reading this article, it’s that when a woman says “I’m fine.” She’s almost certainly not. She’s stewing about something you’ve done and it’s up to you to work out what it is. Good luck!

“That was the best I’ve ever had.”
It’s very nice of her to say so, but we’re afraid it’s not true. She probably just feels the need to say something positive to show her appreciation for all your efforts between the sheets. Accept graciously, but know that there’s always room for improvement. Body language is a much better gauge of her satisfaction levels.

“I don’t know.”
Ha! This is a good one as it means the precise opposite. Women know their own minds very well and rely heavily on instinct, so there are really very few occasions when a woman genuinely doesn’t know what she wants. Chances are she does know but isn’t ready to tell you yet. Pesky!

“I’ll be ready in five minutes.”
Er, make that half an hour. It’s okay for you, a quick shave and a clean shirt and you’re ready to go. Women have a lot more primping and pruning to do from picking out the most flattering outfit to coiffing hair and applying make-up. It simply can’t be rushed. So unless you want to go out with Coco the Clown, pull up a chair, grab a good book and wait. It’ll be worth it.

“I’ haven’t slept with many guys.”
There’s always a chance she’s telling the truth, but most women lie about the number of men they’ve slept with to protect your fragile ego. What if she’s been with more sexual partners than you? Too many and you’ll think she’s easy, not many and you’ll think she’s inexperienced. Our advice? Steer clear of this topic altogether.

“I weigh… and am a size…”
Shame on you for asking how much she weighs! Do you realise how loaded a question that is for women? Be prepared to be lied to when she gives you her answer, but understand that the lie has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with her own perception of herself. So what if she adds or subtracts a few pounds, just accept it.
