Nope, they set out actual portable telescopes, like the kind you can buy at a store (for a lot of money). They just set up a bunch outdoors, and people can walk around and look through them. They have experienced staff there that can help aim the telescopes at specific planets and such. It's the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory, their next open house is January 28th.
