I am not thinking in a 2D side view simply because I don't have the ability to paint anything else in MS Paint.

Last time I visited the sea-side, I witnessed exactly the thing I described, in full 3D real live immersion mode. My 2D picture is a bad representation of it, but if you truly have a viable explanation then it should not matter. You know just as well as I do that the phenomenon I am describing is real. The open point is whether you can explain why it happens.

please take into account, when I first "entertained" this idea of a flat earth theory, almost 1 year ago, I (just like you) had a shit tonne of questions regarding this subject.
I spent days & weeks literally non-stop researching this online trying to understand how this could be possible. I was completely on my own, typing in google, flat earth questions, and then trying to sift through the BS results to find the real answers,
I didn't just accept it, I was trying to learn and understand.......sometimes i would take a break for a day to clear my mind, then continue the research.........somehow I was able to break the indoctrination, and suddenly it all just became so obvious.

I am still trying to understand how I can break the indoctrination and learn the truth, but so many others cannot?

Do you consider the possibility that you have come to a conclusion that is incorrect?

The answer is Width Height and Depth, but x, y , z will do - z being depth which is the most important axis when referring to actual perspective.

Now look at that picture - you see the z axis, see how the railroad tracks appear to converge - but of course the dont - they are completely parallel.

But know also notice how they appear to get higher - so notice how the further away they are - the higher they get

again you know thats not true right? that are completely flat, they dont actually get higher - they appear to get higher due to perspective.

Now see the point they join up higher than the bottom - at the horizon right?

Now is that the real horizon or the horizon you think is real but is only there due to perspective?
