- the human eye being so many thousands of times smaller than the globe
- the horizon getting flatter (visually) the closer you get it or less of it you see (as you saw)

I thus proved the horizon and earth surface would appear flat when you on the ground

when you're up at 130, 000 ft and you can see 600 miles - its still flat

if the earth is 24,000 mile circumference and your seeing about 1/50th of it
and the earth is 360° , you should be seeing 7° of curvature

perhaps we need a campaign to find the missing curvature
any ideas?

And even if your standing on a beach - looking out to the ocean
you can see about 50 miles end to end - thats 1/480th of earth 24k circumference

or about .75° of the 360°, very small but i think it should be slightly perceptible still

The flat earth diameter is believed to be 25020 miles or ~40000km. 39km is even much smaller

either case you only seeing a small section of the horizon

yoiu skipped the part where air is attached to the earth .. it does not "spin" at 1000 mph.. I think for this you need to visit Saturn. On earth max speed is 350 kmh something i believe, still very occasional to happen..

Now considering my camera lense being only ~10x smaller and the horizon being almost flat on my baseball

With the the GE model you are going up a height ~326 times smaller than the earth's diameter
An eyeball is ~20mm in diameter, millions on times smaller than the GE

the centrifugal force from the spin would need to be greater than gravity and if that were true then we would see 1000 foot tidal waves crashing into the equator all day, and 20 mile deep water there and water doesn't even go that deep
