This is very true because they produce a lot of waste. But he gets regular water changes and taken out and scrubbed down once a week so the likelihood of this particular turtle giving it to you is a lot less. I still recommend washing your hands when you handle any reptile or pet for that matter.

yeah my parents used to run a pet shop and we had a few of those red dot ones and i remember a few people getting really sick after cleaning the tank
but your a bio hazard pro so you'll be sweet az! :thumbsup:

I haven’t got it yet(knock on wood). But he gets regular water changes and his body and shell gets scrubbed too.

I just got my EDP so I’m going to get a snapper, diamondback terrapin, painted, musk and map next.

Going to go around schools and teach kids about turtles.
