It seemed like he did good, but I suspect rounds 1-3 were just too awkward for floyd to be offensive, and after that he held back for the show.

Floyd may have been able to end it at 6 or 7 had he went 100% out the gate.

Then again, McGregor dicked around quite a lot, and fouled like a dozen times, half unnoticed. (putting his hands behind his back, hammer fisting, etc)

In the end, he did better than most expected even with floyd holding back.

1-3 were all about gassing a bigger inexperienced man

Floyd was never not in control

could have done what I predicted which was finish him in the 6th

Floyd knew it wasn't going the distance so giving a a few rounds as sacrifice for the gas tank were no prob

The moment 30 seconds passed and floyd was not KO'd, conor lost.

That being said, floyd could have won sooner if he wanted, I just don't think he could have won durring 1-3 simply because conors attacks were so wacky.

Yeah the plan was to exhaust conor no one is disputing that, after all he stated it like 20 times, "me and my daddy talked about it, i just stuck to the game plan".

I am just saying that conors was unconventional and that made being over aggressive early in the fight risky for floyd, he is not a man who takes risks. (at least not very often)
