Only technically, so you aren't incorrect in stating that but it glosses over the actual issue.

As previously stated, we already tried using another program and the quality is still shit so getting Vent or TS won't change it, most likely.

There are apps which make them sound like a mouse all the way to a deep booming voice. It's fun and they do not have to know it's on as you are the only one that hears their altered voices.
