Wtf I came from Diablo 2 days

I was randomly browsing the front page of the forums, when I saw this thread and clicked on it:



I had never been here before, so this has definitely been the craziest thing that has happened to me today. Well, except when I put an item up for sale in Path of Exile. I had used a Orb of Alchemy on a Large Cluster Jewel and it turned out quite well (some nice chaos stuff and whatnot). I almost never use orbs like this, I typically just collect them in my stash. But somehow, something made me do it. Perhaps it was fate? It was like when I found a Sur Rune in A2 right after getting a cube for my mule. Or technically speaking, I was getting the cube for myself, after having transferred it to my mule. Right after getting the cube, instead of leaving the game or going back to town, for some reason I went back to the previous room and killed a few monsters. And bam, a Sur Rune! I almost didn't even create a Hell game when getting the cube (would have been faster to do it in Normal). But I thought, you know what, I don't have the waypoint in Halls of the Dead in Hell, might be good to get it. Anyway, back to the Large Cluster Jewel in Path of Exile. So, I didn't know what it was worth and randomly set the price to close to 40 Chaos Orbs. Well, half a minute later I started getting ultra spammed with trade offers. Guess it was worth more? Perhaps I should use it myself, it does fit my build after all. I only thought the jewel I was using was better, but there must be something really good about this one!

Btw, when I said a Orb of Alchemy, I actually meant an Orb of Alchemy.

I came here after about 6 crown and cokes.

Please tell me you didn't actually take the time to type all that out.

I heard of d2jsp somewhere between 07 and 09 from people in d2 but I never came here because I thought it was one of those sites that you had to pay real money for d2 items!

Anyway, I was living in these apartments back in 2011 and a friend downstairs from me heard the d2 music in their apartment and he asked me about it! I told him that I play d2 and he asked if I was on d2jsp! He is the one that actually told me what it was all about so I joined! I instantly fell in love with the site! I started off in d2 west ladder and had a blast buying and selling items over there! I even found some cool guys that would spam and troll the heck out of west ladder and I really enjoyed reading their posts! It was bamff (now Dominate) and xyzamp! (pretty much the whole Rebellion guild and CMF and Dakine)

So after about a year of trading on west ladder, I got kind of bored with d2 but I still loved the site! Around this time, I noticed all the cool spammer trolls were not posting in west ladder anymore! So, I stalked xyzamp to see where he went and saw that he was posting in Love Line and General Chat! I knew I didn't want to go to Love Line so I figured I'd go see what General Chat was all about! It was like jsp heaven! Cool spammers and trolls EVERYWHERE! It was awesome!
I liked it so much that I quit d2 and just kind of moved right in here and I've been here since!

Well that's how I found the d2jsp chat!

I played Path of Diablo before coming here.
Some friends I had on there told me about the site. Also have a IRL friend that is on here.
I'm not new to forums in general, I enjoy most I frequent.
I was browsing different sub categories and saw some topics I thought I'd like and posted in here.
That's about it.
