Of course I am doing other research but I like to hear it from the people as well. Money is not much of a issue. I can make anywhere between 150 to 400 thousand us dollars depending how much I want to work. I usually work less to be home with my daughter more.

I am pretty narrowed down to UK, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany or France. My daughter really wants to move to France but meh.

Rented a nice hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland for a week. If anyone is around there and would like to chill lmk.

Took 3 weeks off so we'll bounce around for a bit till I can find a place.

Anymore suggestions, comments, etc. are welcomed.

I live in Denmark. Very pleasant, great security job wise, free of charge usage of hospitals and doctors, fine educational system - college is free, they even give you money for going to school.

Don't really have a problem living here ^^

Any restrictions? What about the schools? Any issues with Americans? Any insight in these? Any information will help. I can tour Denmark, if it sounds good. Didn't even think about Denmark.

How is the outlook on the homosexuality? My daughter is gay.

Schools are great, and free too.
Restrictions are that taxes are high and it's generally an expensive country to live in. But nothing crazy like Norway for example.
The general consensus in Denmark is that people usually accept all nationalities. The only cultures not totally accepted are muslims.
Homosexuality is no problem in Denmark. Homosexuals can even choose to get married - either in the church or at city hall.
Oh danish can be a hurdle because pronounciation is a bitch and the grammar is weird.
But as long as your English I fluent, you're good to go in Denmark :)
Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

In france people suck at english
people aren't obsessed with crime rates and owning guns
you pay more taxes but you get stuff like free school and we don't let you die when something happens to you and you don't have an insurance,
pretty much everyone agrees that people who live in Paris are assholes (I live in Paris)
if you have something against arabs, avoid mediterranean cities. This probably goes for other countries
you'll certainly encounter the usual racist grandpa that doesn't like anything, including americans, I guess it wouldn't be any different elsewhere
it's much less religious. There is a christian history, there are churches everywhere, but having "in god we trust" written on bills or the president using a bible during an official ceremony would be outrageous

finland is supposed to have the best education system (so public school) but here I'm just repeating stuff I heard

Daughter really wants to move to Paris. Have you been there? Any info on life there outside of the visitor trap places?

in france, gay marriage is a thing since 2013

in Paris, there are lots of tourists and lots of people in a hurry because they have work to do
you don't need a car, there are subways and buses
and well it's a big city, As long as you don't seek nature, calm and quiet, you'll probable find whatever you're looking for.
