Well, sometimes "I"'ve been climbing and balancing/walking on stuff, like cranes, bridge rails, walls etc just to overcome fear of hights, sometimes just for fun, sometimes to overcome fear of death, sometimes out of habit, sometimes out of desperation of wanting more out of life...lately as a part of transcending the ego's ideas of fears of life and death to rediscover my true natural self. Cause "I" have to know what it's like to be free. Most who do these kind of things are very skilled at what they do, like olegkricket, mustang, Honnold, Kingston etc, good control and great balance, dedication. I have pretty good balance and dedication myself which helps a lot in climbing and doing things like this even tho I'm not quite at this lvl yet... takin it slow, mostly :P Cannot speak for why or how others do these things... But I know life is supposed to be more(with less) than what we've been told by cultural conditioning, it's supposed to be lived now, effortless, free, flowing, not at all necessarily anything to do with the ideas or beliefs of culture that doesn't serve us.
