You may laugh. A love and I lived about 10 blocks West of that park for about 2 years.
Favourite walk was when it was very windy. We'd go down to Dallas Rd and stop at different spots to watch the huge waves crash and land on the street. Sometimes, they would carry stray logs that may have gotten loose from those tugboats that move logs from one place to another. Memories. I do miss the fresh air that Victoria is filled with. And, then, there is Long Beach and Tofino. Beautiful powerful Pacific Ocean spots. Darn, I miss those places. Hah! Yet, I do love where we are now. Quiet rural suburbs South of Montréal and a short drive to the US and to Ontario. Farms, forests, lakes, and rivers. Lots of wildlife here, too. Oops. I typed too much. Sorry! :blush:
