He is one of the coolest dudes ive ever met, incredibly talented... hes retired from kayaking these days ,but years ago he was well known for running waterfalls that no one else had ever attempted.

Heres a cool artsy short film he made back when I was closer to him, where he runs the Green river narrows ( class V) blindfolded.

While watching that, my blood pressure went through the roof! That is one frightening sport! It's scarier than running from the bulls as like what happens in Pamplona, Spain.

Whitewater kayaking is hands down my favorite sport I have ever done. I genuinely prefer it over motorcycles, skiing, skydiving, and every team sport I have tried.

Unlike most of those other activities, I did not even start kayaking until I was an adult right in the middle of COVID.

I hate admitting it, but I am still pretty terrified of pushing past Class III rivers.
I know that with enough time and dedication I could become more comfortable on bigger, more technical whitewater but when things go even slightly wrong out there, it is an absolutely terrifying experience.
That said, when everything lines up and you are flowing down the river it is pure magic. There is nothing else like it

My mancave seems to get 4-6 degrees hotter then outside
Massive stone wall sucks up all the heat directly in the sun
and a black nearby roof not helps either

27 C today, 32C yesterday

Is it humid where you are? I can tolerate heat if the humidity is low to none. Humidity to me is like kryptonite to Superman.
