While exploring thingies, I had and continue to wonder how I could tell if something observed and/or experienced is a quirky natural phenomenon or if it is magic as what people who believe in such a thing may claim it to be. A huge number of people believe in a God(s) and/or in a Goddess(es) and/or spirit energy thingies. And though I am a Darwinist in the truest sense of his thoughts on evolution, I cannot but wonder about life having emerged on what is a sphere that formed out of dust, liquids, and gases. Maybe, this pale blue dot and all of the life that it is host to is like a mirror to something magical. It may be that magic is a placeholder term as like when we say consciousness or a black hole. Those are both placeholder terms. Unknowns are unknowns.
