I used to have a lot of patience for home thingies.
. The flexible thingy was a pain in the butt. It crushes too easily and the max length that our local hardware store had was 6'. A tight length indeed. I do not want to do that chore ever again. :bonk:

6' is more than enough if you use it right.

So true. I do not know why I cannot stop from crushing the tube while stretching it out. I am gentling pulling it apart to stretch it and that last foot to reach the exit pipe, I squish the freaking pipe. Grrr... I need to like do yoga or meditate before attempting that kind of gig. I am really good at plumbing stuff. But, not this aluminum thing.

I prefer the non vented condenser dryers, less maintenance great energy savings, dont need to create holes in your house.
Stay away from heat pump dryers they are green washing bs in disguise. Sure they use less energy but take x2 as long, they are loud and because of the longer run times they don't last as long, require more maintenance and if things do go wrong are expensive to fix.
Vented are really good in laundromats or when you running some kind of a hotel where speed of drying is important.
