People are already saying marathon is next. I have not played that or high guard but it seems like these companies try to capitalize off hype and trends but take 8 years to make the game so the trend is dead by release
I don't think Marathon will survive long. Fans are begging for more but they ain't gonna get it.
Sony/Bungie is trying to sell a single multiplayer game mode for $40. They used to sell fully voiced Campaign with robust multiplayer including a plethora of game modes for $50.
