Why does social media have to be a requirement for life now?
Dating partners want it
Business contacts want it
Employment applications want it
Can't a homie just be off the grid
Honestly man you can meet a ton of people at a lot of places. If you exercise, the gym usually has quite a few people, and though you likely won't talk to anyone immediately, people tend to feel more welcome in those types of places when they see regular faces. The more neutral time you spend around someone new, the easier it gets to do something like crack a joke or a smile if you inadvertently look at each other or whatever
I have met more women in the last 5 years just from work and being in public than I have on dating apps in 10 years, it doesn't take much to be charming/approachable
