Because some people don't like ripping people off. I see people overpricing things all the time. I prefer to be honest and give a fair price. I have my minimum price too and won't go too low, but people trying to sell something higher than fair market value pisses me off. Feels like scummy people.

I only sell early ladder when it's worth more I ain't doing 5fg trades no time for that nonsense

This 100%

I found 2 Jah runes this ladder, 1 after a month of the season that sold for 600 and another that sold for 250 more recently, and I've made back a bit over all the FG I've spent across 4 fucking characters.
I'm talking semi-rare items that will take you similar time to find as a jah rune but cause I "got lucky" earlier in the season aka grinded hard for a few days in the first week I made like 10 to 100x what I would have made playing a month or two in the season.

I see it all the time that something like a laying of hands can sell for 10fg, then someone chimes in for 5fg, another chimes in for 3fg, another for 2 then 1 then free. It's like people go on this site to trade and make fg only to get lost in their own ego or generosity or something and forget that they're trying to make money off the stuff they have, not give it away.

10fg for that is a rip off anyway. 3-5fg for those basic items is a fair price. Any lower than that is a waste of your time kinda, but it's all relative.. If you start with 0fg, then 2fg is better than nothing. Undercutting people is a legit strategy, not just in games but in life. Look at mcdonalds. Became successful for selling cheap burgers.

But the amount of time it takes to farm something worth 50fg+ is really low in comparison to wasting a solid 5+ minutes to trade something for 2fg. No it's not worth selling a burger for $6 that cost $4 when labor costs $9 but you substitute said labor for free by working it yourself. You make $2 but undervalue yourself by $7 and earn $7 less than you would not even running the business and working a minimum wage job in this scenario for $9.

If you play the game purely with the intent of farming items for fg, then sure, but if you just play for fun and wanna trade for fun and make a few fg while you're at it, then that's okay too. To each their own, everyone has different styles of playing and trading.

This a little bit of a rant thread but I'mma try to keep it short.

Thread: LFM *Mundane useless low level item*
Posts: 10fg
Next guy 6fg
Next guy 3fg
next guy 0fg, take it free
next guy I'll pay you 300fg to take this fucking thing from me
Next guy: -5,000fg

What is up with people wasting all their fucking time hounding this site for 1 or 2fg trades?
It's a waste of time. When people offer me 1 or 2fg for anything, no matter what it is, I won't make the trade. I'm either giving the fuckin thing away for free, or I'm not entering a game.

Value your time, have a price minimum, have a value minimum on shit you'll keep, and anything less than your minimum is something you should give away thru charity and generosity.
If somebody needs it then it'll land in their hands eventually with enough people making free games.

I'm amazed why you are so worried about other people than yourself. It's their life, their choice, and it doesn't affect you at all so ignore it and move on with your life.

Why in the world do you even waste your time worrying about users that you'll never even know in person. If you know the secret to true happiness then you live it out and let your actions speak louder than words.
