I think it's because the mods here are very lenient compared to most other places on the internet. That's a good thing, of course. I hate how easily it is to get banned at other places on the internet. You actually have free speech and can properly express yourself on jsp without stepping on egg shells, and that's what makes it great. Of course people will push the limits of what they can do, that's just natural, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

The freedom is pretty nice. I dont really test it as much anymore, but I've had my fair share of warn in the past. But it is nice to express differing views without being punished too harshly.

Frankly it's refreshing with how the social climate is now-a-days.

Yep, jsp has always been like that since I first started using it in 2004. Other forums don't even have a warn system or temp bans, just straight up perm bans on first offense. That just creates echo chambers where people are too afraid to say how they really feel so it's a fake forced niceness.
