I wonder if the moderating team take suggestions.
If a forum user lodges a complaint, why not set up a mediation session to see if the one lodging a complaint and the person who they are complaining about can't talk things out.
But, mediation within reasonable rules:
- be honest.
- no bullying.
- make a respectful attempt at trying to stand in the other's shoes for a moment before moving on.
There may be other rules. But, solely to get the two peeps to understand each other. Not to be copies of each other, just to see where the other is coming from.
If no consensus, then the moderator can lower the proverbial gavel on either the complainer or on the one that the complaint is focused on.
