Nah not to be rude or anything but you’re wrong, I’ve smashed fingers and toes plenty with hammers or dropping heavy doors and beams.

Tearing such a huge chunk of skin is like 1000x worse. I have a black toenail rn and it slowed me down like 1 min. This kind of tear is end of the day.

Rather lose a nail

first couple minutes was me tugging and poking at the flap trying to decide if it would be more painful to tear off now or later. Shoulda tore it then but I bitched out and bandaged the flap. Will let it dry tomorrow and cut it with nail clippers.

Ty. Prolly be a week to heal but I’ll be back at work tomorrow.

Looks like what I did with a fruit peeler on my pinky awhile ago tbh, like exact.

Shuckin somethin, hand slipped on slippy fruit, pinky caught a stray.

i can see that. Less painful with a sharp edge than a blunt object for sure tho. My friend thought I did this with my knife when I went pics to him

Oh yeah for sure.
Was so sharp I looked down and I wasn't bleeding yet didn't feel anything but knew i snagged it.
Then it just started gushing.
