Whenever i see the word alpha, i think of that muppet in the muppet show sesame street. And that's what i connect anyone calling themselves "alpha male" with. Or that big blue furry guy, idk. "Max mekker" he's called in norway, "mekker" is slang for "mekaniker", meaning "mechanic".
