why do you think that? I'm curious why you think that it will be worse for humanity than better? My view is that AI will help with human productivity and scientific discovery (obviously I think I could be wrong hence me asking) What do you think is the biggest reason? Do you have any reasons why your opinion might be wrong as well?

Oh i see Ai as being a very useful tool with great benefits as it saves you time. Time is the most important currency that we humans possess.

But ai might be TOO useful and beneficial that it will cancel out some hardships that helps build our human brain and drive. It’s a double-edged sword imo. We’re still at the very beginning phase so its hard to say for sure but it’ll have a big impact on humanity regardless, from basic tasks to wars.

i agree with that for sure as far as the double-edged sword. One of my fears is that people lack the ability to "think for themselves". I'm 33 years old and I wonder what humans who are born today will experience in this intelligence explosion, how will it effect schooling? When I'm 60 years old and need to see a doctor, will they be a doctor because they cheated on their exams using AI and they're really just a dumbass? I wonder these things too.

The purpose of Ai will be to replace many things that's humans take care of. It will result in people losing jobs rather than creating more. It will result in fake news, fake propaganda and it'll get to a point where nobody will know that they are watching something real or fake. Ai will be a nightmare in the political world. It will encourage kids to take the easy way out a d continue to dumb down future generations.

I mean anybody with common sense could go on and on about the upcoming negative effects of Ai. It's a program that can literally replace anything and everything eventually and at that point, what's the point in a human life coming from the mind of a business owner/politician?
