I saw yesterday a male octopus mated with a female octopus. The female later swallowed the male and then committed cellular suicide.

Don't tell me you don't understand how food chains work. There are only several handfuls of species that eat mosquitoes and not even as a primary source of food. More like a small snack.

It's like saying the human civilization will collapse because snickers bar discontinued production.

I do think dragonflies rely on mosquito pretty heavily but I might be wrong
