I actually don't like them either, often too acidity for me. Even the sweeter ones. But i can like apple cake, as in apple brown betty to you americans. Newly baked apple bunt cake, with lots of cinnamon and good vanilla ice cream, with the diced apples inside moist and hot, then we're talking. Throw on some meltet milk or white chocolate too and it's getting even better.
