Another port went up today. a fire triggered a bunch of ammonium nitrate which has been stored in the port since 2014. 100's dead 4000 injured. so much footage online due to the initial fire.

hardly the same, one took 4000 cars with it as well. It also had plenty of a shockwave but it was hard to notice because it was night time. I also believe the 2015 case, the ammonium nitrate was a smaller amount as well as fresh and not laying around drying for 6 years. With Beirut, the ammonium nitrate was sitting there probably in mountainous heaps for 6 years dry in the desert climate and ready to go boom shaka laka

The 2015 Tianjin explosions were 336 tons TNT equivalent and the one today was a 3.3 on the Richter scale which would be about 50 Tons of TNT equivalent. so thats interesting, the less volume created a bigger shockwave.
