Is a scumbag thing to do. Earlier today I read that Simon Cowell has a networth of $600m and he won't leave any of it to his son and he will give it all to charity. So his son won't be entitled? What a POS. I've heard of other famous and rich people saying the same thing. The whole point of working is to make money, a means to an end. If you have enough money where you can be happy, stress free, and enjoy your life without working, then why not do that if that's what you want? I could never imagine doing that to my children.

What do you guys think? Douche move or what?

I got an inheritance that I haven't touched also a big life insurance policy out on myself. Both of which get split between my 2 kids when I die.

Lil nans needs to be protected and taken care of.

Douche move but it is their money and they can do with it what they please

I feel the same way about people like Zuckerberg and Bezos, they have enough money to fix all the financial struggles in this country but choose to buy homes in Hawaii instead

This is factually wrong. Throwing money at poverty never fixes the problem. Do you know how many trillions of dollars we've donated to Africa in the last 100 years? And yet they've made almost no progress. Besides, even if you give a poor person a million dollars, what are the odds that they'll be broke or overdosed within 3 years? It's like lottery winners, almost all of them go broke. You can't fix stupid.

There's merit in earning your own wealth.

They surely don't need that entire estate, at least

It's quite stupid to work all your life to make hundred of millions and don't leave any to your children, what's the point of being rich then?

That’s cause Africa is corrupt and pockets all the money

Also, it’s not factually wrong, it’s factually correct that they have enough money to fix said issues, you can’t change how someone would spend said money but to deny that the money they have couldn’t fix this issues is just wrong

For instance, ending extreme poverty has been estimated to cost as little as $95 billion annually. It’s not about just throwing money at the problem, but you need the proper institutions etc
