how long does a thread need to be with out interaction before posting in it would be considered "necroing"?

It depends if you like the idea of bringing back Buffy the Vampire Slayer with some of the original cast or not.
Some forms of knowledge have many moving parts.

Threads naturally die anyways, you can’t post in a thread that’s older than 3 months

People that care about necroing are losers, there was only 2 people in gc that cared anyways and they're not here right now. If you're still able to post in a thread then just post in it, if it's too old and you can't post in it anymore then you can't.
