Mom texts me weekly to ensure I'm alive

yes i live with my father. he needs help hes sick and my Mother died 13 years ago

Briefly, once a month or two. Sometimes no conversation at all for 3+ months. It's even worse with my 2 siblings. I went 2 years once without talking to my twin brother at all. My family is very conservative and my dad wears a MAGA hat. I'm gay so I don't fit in with them. Oh well.

Talk to them on the phone biweekly, haven’t seen them in person in years as I was living in Alaska for quite sometime. Now that I’m in Austin my girlfriend and I have plans to see them this Christmas.

Talk to them a couple times a week and have dinner with them monthly. I can’t imagine having a bad relationship with my parents, it must be awful.

I talk with my mom pretty much daily.. she also makes me food or buys me take-out food .. im a momma’s boy

Barely talk with my dad but he also buys me food sometimes

I help them out financially

I speak to my Mom and Grandma daily, don't speak to my father bc he sucks, and I check in on my recently widowed Mother in Law once a week on behalf of me and my husband because he will go months without a text lol

My mom is blind so I help her often too
