Ought we to allow ourselves to be abducted for another species' research? As things are now, we appear to be comfortable with using most of the other species for our research. Just recently, in Toronto, a research lab's staff was inducing cardiac arrests in puppies. Then, they'd end the lives of the puppies to examine their internal organs. I know that there is this "better them, then us" kind of rationale. It's not abnormal to have that rationale. Yet, I am worried about how we can induce suffering for our benefit. It's a bit tyrannical, if you ask me. In place of any other species, would I volunteer my body to be subjected to suffering for science? I do not know. I just don't know.

Imagine if CRISPR was used to splice in the genes that are coded for growing the appropriate-sized dragonfly wings! Aside for how difficult it would be to find clothes, those are wings which as like the hummingbird can be used in the best maneuverable way.
