As you just stated, BB stands for Best before, so the answer is No. That's not the expiry date. It'll stay good for awhile after the date but not as good as before.
That's why I mentioned that I'm from Europe.
Cos in here we have standards so it might differ from ur habits.
No item with "suggestion" such as BB will be on shelves if it's close to what we consider it's expiry date.
If my peanut butter bought today had BB in 2025 I'd skip it
