BB stands for "best before", so answer is Yes

Best before is simply a recommendation. This type of item will remain perfectly fine for a long while. Possibly let me dip my fingers in and taste it.

As you just stated, BB stands for Best before, so the answer is No. That's not the expiry date. It'll stay good for awhile after the date but not as good as before.

Retailers will donate this product at the end of the month specified on that product, but it is not an expiration date.

You have 6-9 months after that date for an unopened product and 2-3 months after opening.

That's why I mentioned that I'm from Europe.
Cos in here we have standards so it might differ from ur habits.

No item with "suggestion" such as BB will be on shelves if it's close to what we consider it's expiry date.



If my peanut butter bought today had BB in 2025 I'd skip it

I would get a refund and ask for a free replacement, what grocery store did you buy it at?
