Went to the auto show recently and for once I was happier to drive home in what I already own.

Cars have gone overboard with touch based interfaces imo

The materials suck too

agreed, I only go to old car shows.

The new stuff is all plastic junk with 30 cameras and a gps chip in every piece.

old cars are where it's at, you can actually tune them mechanically.

If the computer is shot on new cars, the whole car is useless.

Huge screens are so annoying and dumb. New Tiguan and Tayron barely have any buttons in them. Even to turn on AC, you gotta exit navigation/radio, enter AC settings, then set area you wanna use it on and then set temperature and strength. So fkn annoying to do, especially if you're driving on a busy road and gotta keep eyes on the road.
Parking sensors all around car are also super annoying. Driving close to anything on public parking makes ur music go silent and sensors keep beeping cos they read absolutely everything in your surroundings.

That's why I'm becoming bigger Audi fan by day.
