What's the difference between questo e ridicolo and e ridicolo?
Are both forms acceptable or should I stick to the first one?

you mean "questo è ridicolo" and "è ridicolo" ?

your question is when you have to use the word "questo" ?

Got 1 more question;

Anyway you should write "è"

è = is
e = and
