Una lista di update da eliminare se sono presenti sul vostro PC, procedura da seguire per levarli dal cazzo:

Take Windows Update off automatic — Never check for updates
Windows Update, Installed updates, WAIT a long time till you see the green bar complete its long trip to the right
Now, search for each of the listed updates, uninstall them. You must wait until the list is re-created each time. You need to wait till you see the number at the bottom of the search window exceed a few hundred.
If there are others you want to uninstall, click Later
Then, clear the search box and after the list is again displayed (the number at the bottom again exceeds several hundred), enter another KB number.
Restart the PC. It may take a long time to process this.

If you choose “check for updates, but let me choose whether to download and install them”, Microsoft will download “important” updates like KB3035583 to your computer. It will be pre-checked — selected. Unless you check Windows Update (WU) and discover this BEFORE you shut down, it will install it during the shut-down process.

Procedura da seguire per fare in modo che il servizio svchost.exe non impieghi la vita a terminare:

Windows 7 SP1 64

To resolve this issue: first install KB3145739 manually. Go to Microsoft website to download and then install, even if your Installed History already shows this update.
Next you should restart and finally you can check for updates in manual mode.
It takes between 5 or 10 minutes.

Cazzo, svchost.exe mi stava facendo diventare matto in sti giorni! -.-
Ho disabilitato gli update e credo di aver pulito definitvamente la cache degli aggiornamenti. Appena ho due minuti mi metto a fare questi passaggi! Denghiu!

trovate anche il modo di levare dal cazzo i file di win10 che sono stati scaricati sul vostro pc e bloccare in tutti i modi win10: programmino molto chiaro e di semplice utilizzo

Per quello ho nascosto l'aggiornamento appena arrivato. Non mi ha più dato noia...

comunque dopo ulteriori verifiche credo che non eseguirò la procedura relativa a svchost.exe perchè mi sa che nel mio caso è inutile (inoltre l'aggiornamento indicato l'avevo già installato)... se leggi qui: http://news.softpedia.com/news/windows-update-hanging-when-downloading-april-12-patches-502886.shtml vedrai che c'è gente che si lamenta del fatto che win update ci mette LE ORE a cercare/scaricare gli aggiornamenti mentre invece prima ci metteva 5-10 minuti e che win update pippa il 50 o addirittura il 100% della cpu... questo non è il mio caso: a me ci vogliono circa 10-20 minuti attualmente per fare gli aggiornamenti (che già mi sembrano troppi ) e volevo vedere se c'era un modo per ridurre questo tempo, in quell'articolo invece si parla di malfunzionamenti molto più gravi

se tu invece hai quel genere di problemi con win update allora fallo hard



eh... ma si ripresentano quegli aggiornamenti di merda -.- ogni volta li nascondo e ogni X settimane rispuntano... quel programmino è una figata perchè (premendo un semplice tasto) ti consente di bloccare tutti gli aggiornamenti win10 related ci vogliono 2 secondi in croce a fare tutto, è easy shit
