Trying to do Ds2 on my iron but im not 69 herb for anti fire, is it possible to do it without on rather bad gear? or should i just be pushing it to later?

Push it to later. If you're lacking herblore, you're probably lacking the combats and gear to effectively out DPS the boss while using mage prayer and anti-shield

Go safespot rex until you get a few antifires. He drops 2 dose antifires at the same rate as his rings.

unfortunately wiki says the damage he does without the pot is "unknown" but if I were you I'd go up to the checkpoint of the fight and give it a try. But make sure you're fully healed, otherwise i think you have to pay something like 100k gp for death (not sure). If you give it a go then consider editing the wiki with some info on the damage.

Also "rather bad gear" doesn't really say much, if you're too lazy to say combat stats or some gear, then I'm too lazy to reply to that
