I wanted to know what type of precautions you take when trading huge amounts of gold like 1b and more?

Any way to ensure safety from getting banned?

I heard it might be less likely to get banned if you trade items instead of straight cash.

edit: or don't do it all at once. Instead of 1b+ maybe do a few smaller transactions over a period of time.

don't trade huge ammounts all in one go. Have patience and do it over the course of a few months in smaller chunks 100-250m. Doing lots of trades constantly does make it suspicious. Don't trade in f2p or lumbridge, or lumbridge bank. Do it at grand exchange on a crowded world. Don't say a word ingame, only talk on d2jsp and discord. Trading with random low level f2p accounts makes it suspicious. But often times they would ban only the traded account (the throwaway alt) and not the main that you gave the money to. So you could have a throwaway 500-1000+ member alt that trades, sit with the cash 1 month then trade it to your main. Supposedly trading random junk items is less suspicious but I find it hard to believe that jagex would be stupid enough not to take into account, since they're the ones who implemented the trade limits back around 2009 (I think?) when we had to find random high value junk items to trade fg for rsgp and we still didn't get banned.

I personally believe jagex knows 99% of real world trades that go on, it's easy to see "x guy gave 1 bil free to y guy" but who's to say that it's not a donation from a real life friend. But when you see it happening back and forth with random strangers daily and weekly, it raises a red flag. A one time donation of 100m is very plausible. Trading junk items for 100m? Why? This can also seem suspicious.

Jagex knows better than to ban their own players, many who do rwt also buy memberships. We've traded rsgp for fg for many years. This is nothing new to them. And we're not scammers like many other sites, otherwise people would go to jagex, complain about d2jsp and start banning us. Many people are silly enough to list their runescape name in their signatures or have the same one as their runescape names, makes it easy for jagex to track real world traders. And yet they don't get banned.

I can also atest that to my knowledge, currently, the top management at jagex is soft on us d2jsp fg/rsgp (do us a favor and never say d2jsp in runescape for any reason, rule 1 and 2) but you never know if the next year comes some extremist with some ideas, the same way they came around 2008+ when they killed wilderness, duel arena and implemented trade limits. I forgot the exact years.

At the end of the day it's still a risk but i think it's worth it. If not, you got the option of bonds

I wish you good luck.

you can ignore literally 99% of this
if you trade a flagged seller, you're fucked
don't mention buying or selling in game, just don't even talk
anything outside of that is fine, you can trade literally anywhere any amount. thinking trading 1b at lumbridge is worse than trading goblin village or somewhere else is just plain stupid
