Hmmm odd for sure, I am not having that issue, I pm'd my buddy multiple times back and forth last night, then we hopped on D2R

Could be because someone else took the name and their priv is off.

I know on the skill comp someone changed their name to magic reefer from w/e

but both magic reefer and w/e were the names of diff accounts. He kinda just swapped em around and it messed up all the tracking until he got ahold of them on discord.

That's weird and a bit confusing to me. I haven't not had any problems though. My friends list and CC have not been effected at all.

happens to me, but if the other person adds your new name, they'll receive your messages.
but once they relog it reverts to the wrong name again

edit: remove both of his names on your list & add current one
