I've watched a lot of guide videos but everything starts with tribidding and seem to make it look a lot easier than it is... Now Im asking how would you recommend getting started?

Any tips are highly appreciated and I'll start off with a first questions:

Should the starting practice be done in a low lvl pure or a max/main?
What should be the starting gear?
How do you hit on the same tick that you switch a weapon?


Ps. Been trying to practice and so far I just get slapped by every pker and pvm'er around Im bad!

Practice in the pvp arena worlds, you won’t lose any of your own gear.

I’d learn one style of pk’n first (nh/pure/main) then once you’ve got that down start trying others

Always bring guthix rests, it’s a free 5hp heal and doesn’t cost you any ticks

Learn how to double and tripple eat, and always watch your prayer so you don’t get smited

LMS is a great starting point to understand switches and practice against other pkers
if you want to pk pvmers you can bring simple swaps like mystics+barrage and dhide+rune cbow and diamond bolts + dds at places like fire giants in deep wildy (which is aids but you learn mechanics), ice giants, even hellhounds, or callisto just to feel it out.

i started pking with a friend who could semi-pk, bringing simple swaps and targetting pvmers, but then did a lot of LMS on my iron and it made me actually want to contest other pkers, made it a lot more fun and i got way better at clicks after lms.

my tip is use fixed client mode so your clicks are always consistent where your prayers are, spec bar, etc so you can train your muscle memory

Lms to get basics

Set up little stashes in pvp worlds to get extra supplies

Spent a day at lms and my gosh Im terrible... People just stomp me so fast
This lms idea might have saved me a bunch of money but srsly if thats the minimum requirement to actually pk in osrs then Im doomed

honestly a lot of people that pk in the wildy in teams are worse than the average decent lms pker imo.

just focus on your prayer switches more than anything, bolt ragging is kind poop but at least then you can focus and brew and such when fighting

Any tips how to deal with constant runners (run around everywhere + corners) and those who swap weapons so fast I cant keep up?
