quick info about me
been playing on/off since classic days
i've never really enjoyed playing typical main accounts
every time i start to train/level one, i abandon it, and revert back to pure accounts
on the flip side, if i train a pure, i end up realizing i'm not that good of a pker, so i end up getting defense, and restarting the cycle, turn pure into a main, and abandon it

so with my most recent pure, i started it, about 2 years ago, been playing on/off, mostly off. i realized even tho i dont like pking, i think i just enjoy the account restriction of 1 def, and treated it more of a main, rather than a pure, stats/quest/achievement wise.

so now today, i want to get more into late game pvm, like raids and bosses with friends. i've never been into these things, because when i was playing before there were no raids or bigger bosses like there are now

i've had 0 interest in pking, so i dont think that will be an issue, its more so just ruining another 1 def account, esepcailly that has accomplished a decent amount (to me, nothing crazy on it)

account is fully quested for 1 defense, not just the typical "pure quests" but literally every quest that can be done with 1 defense, 99 farming, without magic secatuers, not a huge deal, but lost a decent amount of money missing out on those extra herbs lol, 99 herb/cook/firemaking. 1746 total lvl, completed 124 total quests, 230qp.. full house favor, all achievement diaries that can be unlocked.. combat stats are relatively low, just because i dont focus on them, really at all,

it's not like ive gottne a bunch of pets from bosses with 1 def, i guess quests are the biggest thing.

but the fact i already have most quests, high skills, it would be a lot easier to transition to end game account,i just dont want to regret it, like i have every other time

basically just looking for anyone to push me off the fence, one side or the other,

unless you wana sell pure for irl $$$ then just train it into main (illegal on jsp btw)
if you aint broke irl turn it into main imo

is that still a thing? i remember it back in the day 10+ years ago, figured it would be dead by now due to how easy it would be to recover account, thanks for input tho

I don't want to be that guy, but have you considered playing IM?
I was in the same boat as you basically. I make pures but suck at pking, end up training def but getting bored of it since you can buy everything off GE anyway.

Id keep the pure and start a new IM. Its what I did and after almost 2100 total still not bored of it. Wouldve quit the normie a looong time ago.

i thought i would hate it but i instantly loved it; as much as i hate meta gameplay, wintermeme is a blast to go to right away

yes

yea i have this idea as well, i even made 1 just to atleast start the wintertodt grind, overall feels a lot better having a decent bank after that, but just feel like overall id get burnt out and/or just overall don't have the time for it, even tho i find myself playing anyways, and a bit of pressure to catch up to friends accounts to get to end game content sooner.. but i might just bring back the ironman account and go ahead and grind some stuff out and see how it goes
