do the level 56 cyclops have the same drop rate?

and also once i find a defender do i have to reset the room and keep the latest one on me?

Same drop rate. Yes you have to leave and show her your defender otherwise it will drop the one you just got again.

Only cyclops to have diff drops is the big bois in the basement for a dragon defender, which you can't enter till you show her a rune defender down there also btw.
