Hey all, Im working on a level 3 skiller after not playing the game for a while.

I got 9 slayer from the natural history quiz, and did digsite so i could get lamps for slayer xp. However, the lamps can only be used on skills level 10+.

Does anyone have any insight as to what the best practice to get from 9 to 10 slayer without combat xp? Should i train other skills and hope for genie random event?

I was going to do ring of recoil method but i wasnt sure if i could get attack bonus low enough to always splash 0. My thoughts if i was to do this method were to use a fun weapon, berzerker necklace, and saradomin brew to try and get bonus down as much as possible, but wasnt sure if this would work still after they updated the one fun dagger from -100 to -50.

Any insight would be appreciated

Pretty sure most skillers would just lamp so that they can use their minimal combat xp towards something else.

thats what i was thinking too, to just hold out for genie lamps and train other skills in the meantime so i dont waste the combat xp, but wasnt sure if there was another way OR if it was still possible to ensure 100% 0 splashes with melee

Why would you have to splash melee on slayer tasks? Just splash magic and dont safespot lol.

splash 0 melee to get them to attack me and then recoil for kill for 0 xp. if i splash magic i still get magic xp from spell cast which would ruin the lvl 3 skiller aspect of my account.

Could always try for a wildy task too and hope whatever you get is aggro

Otherwise yeah I'd just hold off and pray for genies to be safe

But also after the museum quiz, it's only 154 xp to lvl 10 so 2 lamps at 90 xp each

yeah i could always get lucky with a task haha, but waiting it out for 2 lamps isnt too bad

Only thing is with wildy, you can get a task while still having a reg task so its worth a roll just to see
