Im an osrs player and wanna try out runescape 3 but Im having a hard time deciding what account to play on.

Account 1:
My old "main" account from 2002 has decent skill lvls except from all new skills, has alot of money and discontinued items, holiday items, 20y vet cape, nearly half The quests done.

Account 2:
My osrs account. This option will let me start from scratch and learn The game better i think. Also has cheap grandfathered membership,

I will still play osrs so The membership on account 2 will always be there anyway, but it would also be Nice to be able to play osrs and rs3 AT The same time when grinding slow skills. Grinding for Bonds on account 1 might also be an option.

Is it easier or harder to grind for Bonds on rs3 compared to osrs?
What account would you play on?

well if you want to play two accs at once you can't use the same acc so you prob shouldn't go with option 2. also, the game is WAY more fun on ironman mode, and i would make a new acc to play that on rs3. also you ain't gonna make enough gp for bonds on rs3 until you're like max level, its 50m+ gp for 1 bond on rs3 now

Im an almost maxed ironman on osrs and I enjoy it. I might give it a shot on rs3 also then, i was a little bit worried it will make The learning curve abit more complicated in a allredy complicated game

I would use the old main, the best part of rs3 (to me) is bossing, and having some decent lvls and quests to get you started will be a huge time saver. I would read up on invention, sounds like you are quite wealthy so i'd get your invention up high enough to augment a noxious scythe (or a dragon rider lance if ur not high enough lvl for scythe), buy full melee armor (bandos/ or torva to start). Get your combat making sure to have divine charges charge don your augmented scythe. Whenever the scythe gets to lvl 8 or 9 (which doesn't take too long), use a an equpitment sihpon *unlocked at lvl 27 to drain the charge on the weapon to convert it for massive invention xp. Do this by training slayer or lower lvl bosses and you will slowly get used to how invention works. As you lvl up, start augmenting armor to do the same thing and the invention xp starts rolling in. Once you are higher lvl invention you can start adding perks to your weapons and armor which will give quality of life and/or add massive dps.

I would also look into archeology, it's a fun semi afk skill which unlocks archeology passive perks which also add quality of life. The most massive of these is you no longer drain adrenaline when outside cb which makes combat wayyy less annoying without having to constantly spam freedom/anticipation up to keep adrenaline.

I would advise against using legacy combat, the earlier you get used to action bar rotations the faster you will get on board with taking down higher level bosses. There are sooo many bosses at different tiers of difficulty all with viable profits.

If you aren't a bossing person... then ironman might be the better route because the bonus xp for non-irons makes getting 99 skills trivial compared to osrs. Ironman can be super fun and rewarding and by the time you get to bossing you will have a much deeper understanding of the game. However if you like the though of end game content, this will be a longg grind.
